If you are in one of our service area states, we’d be happy to see if there is a project that would fit your goals and arrange a site visit for you.
Because every project we complete is vastly different from the next, it’s difficult to pinpoint a construction cost estimate that accurately represents how much it would cost to build your structure. However, there are several factors we evaluate to determine the resulting cost of your project, including materials selection, location and job site conditions, the complexity of the design, and the size and scope of your building. You will have a per square foot cost once we’ve completed your proposal.
Before we get started on designing your building, it’s important to do your research on local standards for zoning, land use, and construction to ensure your project meets local building requirements in your area. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may need additional consultants and engineers to submit stamped drawings of your plans, including civil drawings and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plans. By contacting your local building office in advance, you can determine what you’ll need for your specific project and how to start the process of obtaining appropriate permits. We can work with you to determine what you’ll need for your specific project if you’d prefer.
Every building project is different, so depending on the size, scale, and complexity of your building, your project timeline could range from a matter of four to six weeks to as much as three to six months to a year or longer.
Absolutely. Where you place your new structure affects the cost of your project. Excavation and foundation costs will vary depending on your site. We try to pick the most level site on the property that is closest to existing utilities. If your property does not have existing utilities, we will be sure to take this into consideration when estimating your project.
If you do not have the time or capacity to handle the permitting process on your own, you can enlist the services of IVC Builders. Although there are fees associated with this service, our experts can help you save money in the long run.
