The IVC Builders team walks alongside you from the very beginning of your project to ensure everything is completed to your specifications and our high standards. Our team coordinates all work on your project to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, quality of materials, and to keep the project on schedule.
To use industry lingo, we’ll be the general contractor on your project so you can relax and have confidence in the post-frame construction process. We’ll be in constant contact every step of the way so you’re informed about our progress. This is something you won’t find with another post-frame company.
Every IVC Builders project follows our four-step process. Learn what you can expect when you work with us.
Our process begins with a meeting where we ask a lot of questions to form a solid idea of your concept and get to know your site. In our meeting, we’ll learn how you want to use your new building, your goals, your project timeline, and your budget.
After our initial meeting, we will develop a project quote and an estimated timeframe for the planning and construction of your building. Next, we will work with you on the design specifications based on the site, building use goals, and budget selected. We incorporate any site discoveries, as well as design modifications that may be required at this time.
At this step, the contract has been signed, and we design and draw up your final building plans. We pull permits or deliver permit paperwork to you to request proper permits from your local municipality. We also outline the construction schedule, prepare the site for building, and order materials.
Once we’ve completed initial site work and materials have arrived, the post-frame construction process begins. As we build your structure, there will be opportunities for you to see the work in progress during different stages of the project. Depending on your building type and project requirements, your building may be finished and ready to turn over to you with a rough in, or if we are doing a complete interior build out, we will finish all electrical and plumbing, flooring, and door installations as necessary. Keep in mind that each building project is as unique as its owner. When completed, we will perform a final walkthrough with you to ensure your satisfaction!
